The next meeting of the Friends of
Pickering Park Gardening Club will be Saturday 1st March 2014,
summer bulb family planting day. Meet in the Sensory Garden, where the
Bowling Green used to be 10.30 a.m. Suitable clothing recommended,
including gardening gloves (optional). In the warm weather, a drink might

Our A.G.M happens yearly on the
first Thursday in April in the usual meeting place (See above). Everyone
is invited to come, so come along and have a say in what happens in your
The Campaign to save the
Pickering Park Gates continues. We have raised over £1000.00 by
public donation, but we still need to raise more. On 14th September
2013, Tony Ryan will be doing a sponsored walk to raise money for the

for helping us to start the group and their continued support, Parks and Open
Spaces, especially the Park Rangers for their advice and knowledge, St.
